TLTradeLicenseTestsState trade exam prep

TradeLicenseTests provides independent NHIE and state-law exam prep, flashcards, and a technical study curriculum. It is not state-approved pre-license credit (Ohio’s 80 hours, Indiana’s 60 hours, or Kentucky’s 64 in-person hours) and it is not continuing education. A simulator percentage is a practice readiness benchmark, with 75 percent as the target on this bank. It is not an official EBPHI scaled score of 200 to 800.

Home inspector curriculum, flashcards, and a 4-hour simulator.

Study the 19 NHIE tasks against IRC 2021, NEC 2023, and NFPA 101, then the statute your board actually enforces. Domain weights on the national exam are 70 percent inspection, 20 percent reporting, and 10 percent professional duties.

How the simulator is built

A full state sitting draws 175 NHIE questions in the April 1, 2024 outline weights — about 122 inspection, 35 reporting, and 18 professional — then 25 questions from that state’s statute. The pure NHIE mode draws 200 questions at 140 / 40 / 20. Both run 240 minutes. The specs drawer stays open beside the items. Passing practice here means 75 percent of the raw items, not a scaled 500.

Or buy one state for $49 from that state’s page. The pesticide bundle stays a separate product.
